Applications for the next academic year are to be submitted from March 1 and are to be completed by May 1. Presently, all grade levels are at full capacity for the current academic year. As a result, we have very limited availability. After you have completed your application and have provided the recommendation form and report card (with English translation), your application will be considered; however, we recommend that you prepare a backup school plan as the likelihood of availability is anticipated to be low.

For students with completed applications (checklist complete), the application decision is typically determined by the end of June or the middle of September.

In addition to general information, WBAIS needs to ensure the student will be able to succeed in an English-speaking environment. For Israeli children who are non-native English speakers, experience has shown that significant issues may arise for children changing their language of instruction if they also have a learning disability. Therefore, a psycho-educational evaluation will be required for students who will be changing their language of instruction, to provide information about them as learners and to help determine if WBAIS will be able to provide a program for them.

The registrar will provide you with a list of evaluators.

3. Admissions Committee Review

Once the application checklist is complete in the application portal, your child's application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee. A Zoom interview may be scheduled with the school counselor, if necessary. If an admission decision cannot be determined, it is possible the committee will request onsite placement testing in order to determine the application decision.

Admissions decisions are made on the basis of an examination of school records, standardized testing results, available space, and in keeping with our Admissions Policy.
